BBBSCP is proud to share Kayleigh and Eli’s inspiring story as part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Their journey from a virtual match during the pandemic to a strong, enduring in-person connection is a testament to the power of mentorship and the positive impact it can have on the lives of young people.
Eli’s growth as a leader and public speaker is a clear indication of how Kayleigh’s support and mentorship have contributed to her development. It’s heartening to see that Eli has gained confidence and is excelling academically and socially. This demonstrates the potential of mentorship to empower and inspire young individuals to step outside their comfort zones and reach their full potential.
Kayleigh’s dedication to the program and advocacy for Big Brothers Big Sisters is also commendable. Her commitment to making a positive impact by being a mentor and encouraging others to do the same is a great example of the ripple effect that mentorship can have within a community.
Just to name a few, Big and Little spend their time talking on the phone, texting, taking walks in the park, touring High Point University, bowling and speaking with our local United Way leaders and contributors.
It’s truly heartwarming to see how Big Brothers Big Sisters has brought these two individuals together and made a significant difference in their lives. They are indeed exemplary representatives of the program’s vision, and their story serves as an inspiration for others to get involved and support youth in their community.
